Postgraduate Philosophy Symposium: First call for abstracts

The 3^rd SA Postgraduate Philosophy Symposium is hosted by the North-West University this year. The symposium is intended to provide a forum for postgraduate philosophers to present their research, exchange ideas, and form connections with postgraduate philosophers from other institutions.

The symposium has an open theme so postgraduate students working in ANY field of philosophy are invited to submit abstracts. 

Format:
Sessions will be 35 minutes long – please allow roughly 25 minutes for presentation
and 10 minutes for discussion. Chairs for each session will be appointed. 
 
Abstracts:
Please email abstracts of no more 300 words to pg.phil.symposium2024@gmail.com by 1 March 2025. Notification of acceptance will be sent by 1st April 2025.

Place: Building F13, NWU Potchefstroom campus

Symposium fee:
There will be a fee for symposium attendance of R300. Breakfast, lunch and refreshments will be provided on each day.
